The Four Areas of Focus

Looking for more #ideas?

in #design?
in #marketing?
in #branding?
or anything really...

It can quickly turn into a nightmare...
So much or too little to explore, creative paralysis, not enough time.

Woah, there!
Slow down.
FOCUS.

In there #nudenotes i'm sharing my notes on The Four Areas of Focus, inspired by a graphic I discovered on Pinterest by Smart Insights.

I love this framework - BUT I have a slightly different take...

Often as creatives we jump straight straight into the ideas, looking outside for inspiration.
Blue sky thinking, blank pages, open briefs - sounds dreamy right?

WRONG!

In my experience, the BEST inspiration comes from within - your brand, your customers, your pain points, your competition.

By understanding your own brand or business fully, you can FOCUS on the best ideas.

Your building the sandbox to play in, this way when you turn to outside for research and context your super focused about what you're looking for.

This saves you a tonne of time, heartache and dead ends.
Gets you to the best idea in the faster possible way.

What do you think?
What's you process for ideas?
