The Emotional Cup

Feeling emotionally drained?
Maybe your #EmotionalCup is nearly empty!

I came across this as an infographic on Pinterest by Upbility Publications.
It's aimed kids, but as I read it. I thought to myself, this isn't just for kids!

You don't grow out of this - you just learn to deal with it in a different way.

We all have one of these Emotion Cups - we want to fill it with all the positive feels!
Joy, Attention, Love, Safety, Security and Affection.

Some of us always have a full cup, and others need topping up every now and then.
But when our cup is nearly empty, the negative emotions start to surface.

When your cup is empty, there are many ways to fill it.
And that varies from person to person.

You need to figure out what works best for you!
For me it's making nudenotes, learning, relaxing with the latest bingable series or going to the cinema.

What empties my cup - not doing anything creative, it really bumbs me out.

Let me know in the comments what feels your cup?
Or better still how your going to stop it being emptied!
