At each level of the catastrophic downward spiral, there is an escape route - it's a choice...
You can either continue down, or take a different path.
But, all these routes require one key thing - self-awareness!
You need to be self-aware or mindful enough to step outside your thoughts and feelings and recognise what's happening.
That's what empowers your action, and you can escape to sunnier (or dare I say more festive) mood.
